Nate Butler recollects: This was the first *real* band I was in where we played our own tunes. TALES OF YOUNG ROBERT holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. For one thing, all of the other guys in the band were and are some of the best friends I've ever had, period; and in three years we went through a lot together, good and bad. I'll never forget the times we had. *sniff* Thanks, guys!

Secondly, it was the first band I got to really explore my own songwriting in, as did everyone else in the band. On a good night with the right audience (and there were many), we could make magic onstage.

What Goes Around Comes Around is the only "album-on-cassette" we ever recorded (in spring & summer 1989, at the now-defunct On Broadway Studios), and it's only a taste of what we were really like.

Well, some years ago I found fifteen copies of the tape still in their shrink-wrap at a yard sale. I've now mastered the cassette to CD, with all ten songs intact.  If you have eclectic tastes, you may want to try this classic Fresno "cassette-on-CD"!
